About this tool

Carbon steel is the workhorse material for structural fastening. Grade 8.8 and above must be coated (zinc, black oxide or Dacromet) or it will rust outdoors.
M22 is a metric thread with an 22 mm nominal diameter and a coarse pitch of 2.5 mm (ISO 261). A standard hex head takes a 34 mm spanner across the flats.
