About this GB 867 rivet
This is a rivet made to GB 867, in T2 Copper, supplied copper plated, with an M1.5 thread and a 4 mm length. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.
A rivet is a permanent fastener: it is set once and removed only by drilling it out, which makes it cheap and tamper-resistant but not serviceable. Used on sheet metal, ducting, panels, luggage hardware and light structures where the joint is never meant to be opened.
T2 copper (99.9% pure) is used where electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance matter more than strength — earthing and electrical contacts.
Copper plating gives a warm conductive surface, used for appearance and for electrical contact. It tarnishes, so it is normally lacquered.
There is no minimum order and no free-shipping threshold: buy one piece or a full container. Your order total is confirmed in the cart, before payment.
