About this DIN 975 threaded rod
This is a threaded rod made to DIN 975, in H58 Brass, supplied self colour, with an M16 thread and a 1000 mm length. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.
Threaded rod and stud bolts are cut to length on site, which is what makes them useful where the thickness of the joint is not known until assembly. Used for hangers, supports, strut and pipe brackets, anchoring into concrete, and as continuous studding through a bolted connection.
A coloured finish, in most cases a dyed passivate over a zinc layer or a dyed organic film. Appearance plus light corrosion protection.
H58 brass (58% copper) is a low-lead yellow brass used for decorative and lightly loaded fasteners. Non-magnetic and electrically conductive, but weaker than steel.
Sold by the piece, so one is a valid order. Stock lines leave our warehouse within 24–48 hours of cleared payment, and freight is calculated at checkout from the packed weight and the destination.
